The Private Yoga Classes are designed for anyone who wants private guidance with his or her yoga journey. Depending on your needs and goals we will work on your health and body. We will work with Slow Vinyasa Flows, Yin Yoga, Restorative and/or Chair yoga.

The sessions are not designed to work towards a perfect pose, but more so to tune into the subtle movements of your body, listen to it and set the needed boundariesTo eventually build more strength, confidence and presence in daily life. 

The session's design is based on a holistic mindset.  Unfortunately in this fast world, the practice of Yoga is oftentimes being completely taken out of context. Do you want to dive deeper into your journey, yourself and body? Let's do it!

Private sessions can be held in English, Dutch or Frisian.

For who?

The private yoga only sessions are perfect:
- when you want to start with yoga;
- when group classes are going too fast or are too overwhelming;
- when you experience physical restrictions or complications during yoga sessions;
- when you want to work on your confidence level, a positive mindset and body image;
- when you just want more personal guidance on your journey.

Visit always a doctor in case of physical or mental illness and pain.

What will be the result?

During the first session grab some cup of tea and we will discuss your needs, wishes, expectations and goals. After this, we slowly explore your body's strengths, boundaries and progress. We will work on your personal goals during the sessions. The result will be dependent on this.  

After 6 or 12 sessions you will at least feel more strong, healthy and confident. With the things you learned, you can go on individually or we can plan more sessions if the need is there. 

Where and when do the sessions take place?

The sessions can be all done online, in the comfort of your own home (from everywhere around the world!). Or at this moment you can book a physical session in Niketon, Dhaka.

The sessions are flexible to schedule. Whenever suits you best, according to the availability. The sessions are available until 6 months after purchasing.

The yoga used during the sessions is based on: 

Yin Yoga, which was in the first place to practice Asana's to eventually stay for a longer period of time in the Lotus pose (meditation pose). Nowadays it is used to discover the body's boundaries, to breath deeply into muscles and connective tissues and to experience the body in a more conscious way. It is a yoga for letting go of tension and to stretch. 

Restorative Yoga, which is meant to fully release the body. The purpose is to reduce stress and to develop the physical health. It is a form of yoga which can be done by anyone and it is one of the most relaxing forms of yoga. In a society which is overloading our senses and in which we most of the times don't know anymore the natural feeling of recharging ourselves, Restorative Yoga has became extra important. It helps to shift the focus to inside and to consciously experience relaxation. 

Chair Yoga, which is especially for people who have body aches, physical disabilities, restrictions or who are not capable of doing all the Asanas on the floor (for whatever reason).
It can be easily implemented in daily life. Especially when you are doing office work and/or if you don't have the time to put down a yoga mat.

Yoga in general is about balance. Yoga means 'Union' or 'Harmony', and is always a practice of poses (Asanas), breath work and meditation all together. Every Asana or technique has its own physical and mental benefits. Besides the releasing, relaxation and stretching, during the sessions, we will also focus on building strength . Although in a gentle and calm way.
