Cracks"There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in."- Leonard CohenThese pictures I took lately in a traditional clay house in Bangladesh.I was so mesmerized by the amazing light pattern, which actually came from the outside. The sun entered the house through the bamboo wall construction. And that's where I actually understood how beautiful these holes in the bamboo construction were. And of course you can think; what if it rains, maybe the water will come through, what if animals come inside, maybe they are harming me etcetera...It is exactly the same with our cracks; look at it in a 'negative' way and you will experience it as a burden and are always thinking 'what if' it wasn't like this. Maybe the situation would be different. With love and acceptance acknowledging your cracks, whatever that may be for you, makes you one day enjoy the light and beauty of it. Who knows you will be mesmerized by it... Are you?
"The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance."Alan WattsWhat is more beautiful than to join the dance of life? 💃Up and down, coming and going, staying and leaving, birthing and dying, in and out, remembering and forgetting, holding on and letting go, close or far away, moving on or standing still, chaos or silence. 🙏🏻💙
In between the sun and the earth. Sometimes I feel myself floating in between the sun and the earth. Not belonging anywhere, or maybe that is actually the place of belonging.Floating in the healing blue space, surrounded by soft clouds. Protected and not afraid to fall down. Feeling the immense power of the gravity on one side. And feeling the immense lightness of the rays on the other side. But no need to go anywhere.Enjoy your day, you are not alone. 💛
